Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?

Jesus accomplished all of those purposes and he has restored the relationship between God and human being. God`s love is shown in His giving of his only begotten Son to be made atonement for sins in order to save the humanity. what is required from us is acceptance of that gift through faith of what is written in the bible. it`s the only source of the abundant life and the starting point of our understanding of the Kingdom of God.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

if we don`t have intimacy to Jesus we cannot obey his words and we cannot do his will because God`s will is only revealed by the help of the Holy Spirit and through the reading of the Holy Scriptures.we will not be able to respond by love all those who offend us in this world ruled by hatred and where the devil is allowed to tempt us unless we are plugged to the source of the divine love.the sine qua non condition of the fullfilment of the new commandment for Christ followers is to remain in Jesus as it is illustrated by Jesus in John 15:1-17 when he spoke about the vine and the branch.
