Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem? Jesus rode on the donkey because he wanted to fulfill what has been prophesied earlier. He wanted to show the humility to the followers of his as the donkey is known for the humility and burden bearing.

Why was Mary`s annointing so meaningful to Jesus? It was his first time to be annointed with very expensive ointment by a woman. Jesus saw Mary`s faith in the annointing with her special oil rather than lust or the love developed on the raising of her brother Lazarus.
