Judas was one of the 12 men closest to Jesus. Why would Judas betray Jesus? He is chosen to fulfil the long prophecy of how Jesus would suffer under the power of men.
Judas was also greedy and wanted money from the chief priests.

Jesus said ...watch out that you don`t get led astray..., What did Jesus mean by this? Jesus meant that some people will be cheating other people of His coming but those people will be misleading the people according to Jesus.
