What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense? The Pharisees denied the power of spirit connecting it to the power of Beelzebul as Jesus is healing demons from the people who have demons.
It is an offense since it is like the Holy Spirit is portrayed as a devil or demon that causes sicknesses disabilities and all sort of bad things in human life.

Why didn`t Jesus want those He healed to make Him known? Jesus wanted to differentiate himself to those who may claim the same works he does in the land by using the people he healed to fulfill the old time prophecies.
