What was Jesus trying to teach people when He deliberately violated the Sabbath in order to heal people?

Jesus was trying to make the way clear to discovery of the meaning of the Law. The Law should not be so rigid that it can cost lives when there are alternatives to prevent the wickedness of men. Jesus is also portraying the way he values people rather than the law which was made by them as seen in the healing of the man with a withered hand.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants?

The wise will claim that they have the idea through their wisdom which God denied them and gave those who don`t know the likes of infants here as Jesus said. The infants are those who know less and would know more by learning the word of God.

What changes should there have been in cities like Chorazin and Bethsaida as a result of the mighty works performed by Jesus?

The people of the cities like Chorazin and Bethsaida should have repented and showed a sign of God`s mercy on them for seeing what really others longed to have seen but did not see it: the CHRIST.
