Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean? It means that not all who may be attending churches and crusades in our daily lives will be saved in the last day but all who have faith.
Jesus was talking in relationship to his death and resurrection where all those who know him for miracles but did not have faith will not be spared for being there as only followers but not faithful.
