Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"?

Jesus knew he had lost the dead from the salvation he came with because the news of the Kingdom of God availability on earth from that time upto now was not told to him so he saw it useless to be wasting time with the dead since there are many who are living but could die without the message of the Salvation which was to be preached to the whole world within the shortest time possible.

What personal philosophy or mindset diverted Jesus from ever using violence?

Jesus was sent to accomplish a promise, a promise of salvation in the old books of prophets, detouring him from the fact by using his power was a weakness which he did not give way. Jesus has a mindset of a goal to be fulfilled: dying on the cross to save the whole world.
