What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Jesus knows that he is forwarding to one of the stage of his salvation and would not feel bad on whatever done to him because it is brough from above.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?
We are fighting a force within us that makes us feel we should be recognised, made great, made important by the people around us so that we are the best of the time without giving a chance to our faith, God and the truth.
