This is a very nice reason to why Judas kissed Jesus for betrayal. The scriptures had to get fulfilled.

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? The Father knew that it is the way he needed the salvation to come to the people by using his son as the passover lamb.
