How did Joseph know it was a real angel appearing to him in his dreams, and not just , for example, indigestion? He knew that the angel was real because he was telling things that only he and Mary knew about (like the pregnancy).Every time when the angel warned him about things, it happens. Also Joseph and Mary was true believers and their faith in God was steadfast
