How did Jesus` death benefit people? His death brought back sinners close to God because after a man sinned against God there was a gap between them. So the death of Jesus removed the gap bringing man closer to God- meaning removing our sins.

Why did Jesus go so willing with those who intended to do Him harm? JESUS HAD TO DO THAT. FIRST, THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURE AND THE SECOND. JESUS THAT DIED FOR OUR SIN.
