Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? yes,Jesus value these people, just like all the people.for example Jesus used to associate with everyone.ie window,children,sinners,lepers etc.jesus value lowly people just like any other person.

Define Compassion Compassionate is showing kindness to one another / needy people. In most of his teaching Jesus taught to love each other as well as healing the sick, crippled , he could comfort distressed and hurted people.
