Compassion is the great feeling of sympathy towards a hurting fellow soul and having a great desire to help so that the life or the soul concerned is changed and given a new hope of living. It can also be defined as seeing the cry of others and taking a positive step to relieve the pain of others in the great need. (Compare Matthew 14:14)

The holy spirit guided Jesus from an early age and also gave him wisdom to speak about God the father even from that tender age. Jesus knows that he has a heavenly father (God) who has been with him before and after birth.
