5712 entries for this category: Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? My thoughts are that Jesus had to show the world what he was going thru for us humans to know and see the actual pain and suffering. We as the world needed to experience the pain and emotional suffering of Jesus so that we can identify the same with our natural lives. With what Jesus has gone thru he has taught us forgiveness, love, pain and endurance.
