Since Luke was researching for a high government official, "Most Excellent Theophilis", how many eyewitnesses (and who) do you think Luke interviewed before writing his report?
All scripture is inspired by God. Without God, Luke would not have been able to write the report. At this time alot of the disciples were still alive so Luke must have interviewed them. He also interviewed Jesus' family and also people that Jesus healed and those that were found around him.

Why did Jesus“ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Jesus cries out at a moment in time when he is not just physically punished, but spiritually separated from God and God separates himself from jesus because of the evil of mankind so that we wont suffer from spiritual separation from God and jesus was ready to sacrifice himself for our sins and jesus came not to be served.but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many and therefore jesus was able to continue to live in paradise and he jesus can choose who will be there with him.
