Jesus took such action because He feel that they are abusing the the holy temple, by turning it as a market place. He condemned what they are doing.

BECAUSE HE SHOW THEM THAT THIS TEMPLE IS A BIG STORY FOR HIM.HE DON'T WHANT HIS HOUSE TO BE A PLACEOF ROBBERS AND IT WAS SUPOUSE TO BE A PLACE FOR PRAYER.
