What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was. He was acknowledging that Jesus was the Messiah and the son of God. The prophesies said that the christ would come from the line of David and so the man believed that Jesus was the Christ and was indeed God and also had the power and authority to heal him. HE had faith.
