Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

It means in efforts to protect ones life we we compromise and loose the plan of God. Jesus knows that the life we have is in God for Jesus said He is the life. Therefore man should depend on him for life to be geninue. and have it in full, no one can claim to have life with Jesus.

When jesus was in his thirties he began his public teaching nd display of recorded miracles, and he reputation spread nation wide hes controversial act was that he repeatedly claimed to be God which was a direct violation of the jewish laws.they also brutally tortured him and then hung by his hands which were nailed to a horizontal wooden beam cross,this method of execution restricted the airflow to his lungs killing him in three hours.after three days later jesus returned from the dead.so we have to belive in him.
