Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? The lowly people Jesus referred to were the children, the poor, the lame and those who were labelled as sinners. He considered these valuable because they held no prejudices to the word and kingdom of God. These are respective to the word of God as they dont place much value in the riches of this earth like the rich people and the Pharisees of that time who considered themselves knowledgable and superior about the word of God. It is the lowly people who will inherit the kingdom of God because they have unquestioning belief of the existence and purpose of God.
