What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus? This was because of the level of Faith which he had in Jesus by then. He did not have enough courage to stand the horror which Jesus was going through. He was not empowered yet. The level of Faith which people have affects us in the way we are identified with Jesus. Most people up to now still are not yet born again and the Holy Spirit has not come into them for people to be courages in identifying themself with Jesus. For the Holy Spirit when he comes on us makes us to be couragous. This is what happened to the disciples who were afraid but when He came on them they were couragous even being ready to die for Jesus.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God? they did not believe him to be the Son of the Most High God.
