Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? yes. if they give something it is from the bottom of their heart, in contrast with the rich, they are doing it either to be seen or too gain the favour of the other party. According to the scripture if you receive your reward on earth you will not receive it in heaven which is self-explanatory.
