5712 entries for this category: jesus penalty for sin,he was on earth in human being body,sipiritual he was a god. so he has to sacrife himself in order to save siners and all human being,and because of hardy heads of the peoples it was difficult for them to bealive that jesus he was son of god and are savior. Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Jesus penalty needed physical and emotional pain so that us mortal being must really see the pains that are there in saving the nation. Jesus Christ suffered emotional pain because if Jesus has only suffered spiritual pain only people will not have known how much God loved them.
