Yes Jesus gives value to everyone, especially the poor, lowly people.Throughout his ministry he taught about love for one another irrespective of social status and his greatest example was when he took the price for our sins upon himself, dying to free all the people of the earth. Here are some the examples of how he interact with the lowly, Luke 19:1-10, Luke 23:39-43 and John 8:3-11.

In Matthew 18:1-5, Jesus shows how valuable are lowly people, he says that anyone who wants to be regarded highly in Heaven should behave as a child towards GOD, and I think this means that people should be humble even in their success to acknowledge that their success is made possible by GOD. The message in Mark 12:41-44 is another good example of how valuable are the lowly people to Jesus. Jesus regards lowly people highly because they give their life and trust to GOD to provide for them while the high status people give GOD only what is spare or left overs in their lives.
