Why did John introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of God"?

The Jews at this point in time were waiting for the Servant promised by God. This servant will bring light to the world. Therefore , it was vital for John to introduce Jesus as the lamb of God so that the Jews could easly understand that the saviour has come and that God has fulfilled the old testament prophets. It seems that the devil blinded the world and that the world was in darkness , therefore, Jesus came as the light to take away the sins of the whole world. John didnot recognise Jesus but was sensetive to the word of God which said " whomever you see the Spirit descending and remaining on him , the same babtise with the Holy Spirit". John wanted the Israelites to understand that Jesus is the son of God who has become flesh and live among the people at the same time the lamb of God. In this passage , we see God the son, God the father and God the Holy Spirit (Trinity) being present. Amen!

How did John`s testimony prepare people to receive Jesus and His message?

John's testmony prepared people to receive Jesus by urging them to repent and be babtised. John denied that he was not the Christ nor Elijah nor the prophet but the voice of the one crying in the wilderness preparing the way for the Messiah; as Isiah the prophet said. John told the Priest and the Levites that he was not only the voice crying in the wilderness preparing the way for the Messiah but also the one who babtise with water but the one who will come before him (John)will babtise with fire(power) of the Holy Spirit whose sandals John was not worthy to loosen. By the tesmony of John the babtist and the truth and grace of the Lord Jesus , many people received Jesus as Lord and Savior. Amen!

Why was sending Jesus to live on earth such an effective way for God to tell people about Himself?

Sending Jesus to live on earth was an effective way for God to tell people about Himself so that people should understand that Jesus Himself was present during creation and that He is the channel of creation of all things. By doing this, people could quickly believe that indeed God made them and that Jesus is the life giver and the light of the world. God's intetion was that all should believe. God wanted the world to recognise Jesus as God the true son at the same time know that Jesus is God the "WORD" which God used during creation. Jesus wanted the people to receive Him but the people could not, however, to those who receive Him were given power and right to be the Children of God. With the GRACE & TRUTH of Jesus,and the TESTMONY of John the babtist, people were given opportunity to have enternal life in its fulness ( John 10 Vs 10). Amen!
