The robber knew Jesus as the saviour and asked Jesus to remember Him in the kingdom of God. The grace of God feld upon him and Jesus assured him because of his faith of enterance into the kingdom of God. This statement make me feel great , joy , peace of mind, courage of witnessing for Christ, keen to hold on my faith and righteousness and praise God and exalt His name for the assurance of the kingdom of God. Our God is the provider. Amen!

If neither Herod nor Pilate found anything worthy of death to convict Jesus of then why was he sentenced to death? Jesus was sentenced to death in order to fulfill the will of God to serve all mankind. Pilate knew that Jesus was innocent but he sentenced Jesus in order to please the multitude: nevertheless Jesus was sentenced to death in order to serve man from sinful nature.

Why do you think Jesus did not speak to Herod nor answer Pilate? Herod and Pilate were the enemies of Christ wereby could not believe Him. Jesus did not want to speak to Herod because He knew that Herod could not believe Him even though Herold wanted to see Jesus performing miracles at his presence. I believe that Jesus was trying to restore the relationship which was broken between Herold and Pilate as all judged Jesus on the same basis. Jesus knew that His time has come to accomplished His purpose of dying for all mankind therefore He did not want to defend Himself at this point in time. Jesus was found innocent before Pilate as well as Herold but the people chose Him to be crusfied. Thanks be to God that Jesus is alive and that we are serving the living God. Amen!
