What part of this teaching by Jesus do you find hard to accept and why?

I thank God that with His words of comfort that with Him (God), there is nothing impossible "MARK 10 Vs 27" . On this lesson, there is no any teaching which I find difficult to accept. This is because the Bible always teach me to repent when I have sin against God (1 John 1 Vs 8 -9) at the same time forgiving one another is the key to the Kinddom of GOD. With faith in the Lord , am saved at the same time am able to command the evil Spirits to vacate from one's heart not only that but also resist the plans of the devil (James 4 Vs 7). With the duty of the Lord Jesus as commitioned according to "Mathew 28 Vs 19-20", am able to witness for the good news of Christ Jesus. I know and believe that am saved by grace and for God to bless me , I should have faith and compile His duty upon my life. "Ephesians 2 Vs 9-10" AMEN!

What about this story disturbs or comforts you?

The area where the story diturbs me is when the rich man asked for a second chance that he should share his possetions with Lazarus which seem not to be attended to by father Abraham because of the rich man selfishness when he was alive. The story disturb me further in the sence that the rich man died and he was put to hades where he suffered. This means that there is no chance of repentance when one dies. Why did Lzarus have bud things? Where did the good things came from which rich man have at that point in time? The two questions may disturb me but it takes our perseverance, love and determination to assist one another when one is lacking that we can enter into the kingdom of God. Am very much comforted in the sence that when we are poor in Jesus Christ , we have riches in heaven with our Father Abraham. Am also comforted that I should hear and act on the word of God. Jesus died and rose from the dead which means that there is no need for someone to resurrect and testify to us once more. Christ died once and for all.Let us believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour in order to rejoice with Him in heaven. Amen!

What is the Good News, and how does this relate to guilt and condemnation of divorce?

The good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross to stand in the gap for the sins of all mankind. Jesus brought the good news about the kingdom of God which protrays righteouness, peace and joy "Romans 14 Vs 17". In Isiah 61 , we learn about the anointed figure who brought the good news of salvation,sactification, repentance , healing, removing peoplle from captivity and making the poor rich in the Kingdom of God. Jesus came on earth to serve that which is lost and to give life in its fulness "John 10 VS 10" this is good news of Jesus Christ. The four gospel of Mathew, Mark, Luke & John including the book of the Acts of the Apostles talk much about the good news of Christ that the Kingdom of God is at hand. Not only that but also the birth and the sufferings of Jesus Christ. In addition , the good news is that Jesus died and rose from the dead. He is alive. Amen!
