Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)?

Jesus healed by touching the man withleprosy because the man begged Him for the healing. The man with leprosy had great faith and believed that it is only Jesus who can heal him. Jesus Has power over all diseases and touching the man with leprosy wsa a demonstration of His power over leprosy.

How does Simon Peter feel about himself, and how does Jesus change that?

Thanks to our God that the first thing Peter did was obedience to God that he did what Jesus told him to do. However, Peter realised that he was sinful man before the lord for he was amazed with the great catch of fish intiated by our lord Jesus Christ. Simon Peter realised that he was not worth to be close to Jesus and Said "Depart from me, for am the sinful man lord". Jesus said to him "Don't be afraid from now onwards you will be the fisher of men. Then Peter was changed and filled with great relief. Amen!!!

Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?

Jesus did not spent more time healing the people because He was fulfilling His mission statement to preach the good news about the kingdom of God to other cities. Jesus knew His task of preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
