Authority is having power to control over others and teach them to preach against evil with command. Authority is the power to rule over and instruction which Jesus gave to the deciples to preach about the good news of Jesus Christ, heal the sick and casting out demons. Authourity is silencing the demons at the same time comanding them to come out of the person tomented by the demons. Jesus demonstrated His authority by selincing the demon at the sanme time commended the demon to come out. Jesus's action is that He has impowered His authority into the believers to preach the good news , heal the sick , rise the dead as well as castind out demons . Mark 16 Vs 17:18

What part of Jesus` "mission statement" (reading from Isaiah) has the most appeal to you? Jesus's mission statement was to preach the good news to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted , to proclaim release to the captive, recover the sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Jesus was impowered by Holy Spirit for this task. Amen!!!1

What is the role of the Holy Spirit during Jesus` challenge with the devil? The Holy Spirit annointed Jesus with power and led Him to the wilderness were He spent forty days without food. When the devil tempted Jesus, the Holy Spirit helped Him to overcome all the temptations by the devil. The Holy Spirit also reminded Jesus with regard to the scripture quotations against the devil. Even us as believers, we should overcome temptations with the word of God. Amen!!!!!
