When we accept Jesus Christ to enter into our hearts, we receive salvation. Salvation is when a person is set free from his/her enemies and those who hate him/her.Salvation is to show mercy towards our fathers and remember the convenant God spoke to our father Abraham about deliverance from evil to the promised land. Salvation means repentance from sins at the same time proclaimation of the good news about Jesus which is about love,joy, reghteousness and peace. God loves us , let us receive Jesus Christ as our lord and saviour. Amen!!!!

What do people think about John the Baptist even before he is born? Note: Sometimes a big introduction is given for a person who then introduces someone even more important. Luke is announcing the announcer of Jesus.

After studying the book of the prophet Isiah, we learn that the Isralites were waiting for the messaih to serve them. In this case, people thought that John was the Messiah. Some thouht that John was just the prophet like any other prophet in the Bible. With this misunderstanding among the people, Luke introduced John the the Baptist as greatest who will preach about repentance with the intetion to prepare the way for the Messaiah. John did this with the voice shouting in the wilderness and many desobient people turned to God and were baptised. Amen!!!!

What did Mary understand about who was in her womb before the birth of Jesus?

Mary understood the one who was in her womb because she was in the state of reghteouness, humility and acceptance to what God has said to her through the angel Gabriel that Jesus will be called the most high God. She knew that her name will be called "blessing" for might things the lord has done to her. She also understood that Jesus has put down the proud and exalted her for lowlyness. Mary uderstood that Jesus is the servant all mankind. Amen!!!!!
