In anticipation of what is ahead, Jesus experiences intense emotions, described as trouble, distress and exceeding sorrow. What final decision does Jesus make here in discussion with his "Abba Father" (daddy)?
Jesus prayed to God the father asking for "daddy" 's will to be done whether to protect Him from possible death or not. Jesus prayed for the second time for He knew that there is nothing impossible with God. We also learn that Jesus instructed His desciples to work up and pray so that they should not enter into temptations, however, they said " the Spirit is willing but the fresh is wick". Brother and Sisters , let us pray to God asking for God's desire to be done on our lives. May our good God bless you as you are taking this step of prayer. Amen!!!!!

Peter was convinced that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. Who would you sincerely be willing to die for?
The deciples were afraid because of Jesus's death. Jesus knew that the hearts of His deciples were out of oder and that they will stumble with what will happen to Jesus. Peter's promise to Jesus was out of his heart because He did not know that Satan has entered his heart and that he will deny Jesus three time before the rooster crows twice. However, Jesus promise that whoever dies with Him shall not be denied. In Jesus , there is life. Amen!!!1

What did Jesus imply by saying, "This is my blood of the new coveneant, which is poured out for many."? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festival that remembered when a plague of death "passed over" the home of those Jewish pe
When we study the Bible, we learn that in the old testament, God made a convenant with the Israelites. The Jews considered the passover to remember hardship they undergone while in Egypt which involved eaating of herbs and sacrifices of the blood of the lamb. In the new convenant with Jesus, Jesus's suffering , death and blood is a sucrifice for all mankind including the Gentiles. The new convenant is poured for all. The passover festival in the new convenant remembers the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to deliver man from evil and when you accept Jesus Christ as lord and saviour, you are given power to became the Child of God (John 1 Vs 12). Amen!!!!!
