What made Jesus` teaching so attactive to tax collectors and prostitutes? Jesus appreciated the discission made by the tax collectors and the prostitutes who repentented due to the message of John the baptist. Jesus loved them and He applause them for their repentance and He wanted the sinners to take example of tax collectors and the prostitutes.

Why did Jesus answer a question with a question, rather than just telling the Pharisees by what authority He acted? Jesus answered the priest and the elders question rather than telling them by what authority He acted because He knew thier evil mind , therefore , he wanted them to reason for themsleves about His authority and believe that He is the son of God who has being given authority from above.
