Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked?
Jesus instructed His followers to react possively because the followers have been given the ministry of reconciliation and they are standing of behalf of Christ to win the lost souls to Christ ( 2 Chorithians 5 Vs 18-20). By acting possively when attacked, it shows how much faith we have in Christ who protects us in time of trouble. Reverging will take us nowere but if we react possively, we are assured of entering into the kingdom of God. Amen!!!!!!

Why is it evil to use oaths?
It is evil to use oaths because Jesus commanded us to say YES OR NO and if anyone use an oaths he/she sins against God because that is comming from the evil one. Jesus knows our weaknesses as well as our thoughts, therefore, we should worship Him in truth and in Spirit. ( John 4 Vs 23-24). Jesus is looking for true worshippers. Amen!!!

Why is it Jesus speaks so strongly against divorce and remarriage?
When one marries, the two become one fresh ( Genesis 2 Vs 24), in this case Jesus is speaking strongly against divorve and remarriage because if someone puts away his wife , except for the cause of immorality at the same time sin against God. Marriage is odained by God (Genesis 2 Vs 18) therefore, no one should separate what God has put together. The wife is given assignments to SUBMMIT to the hasband at the sametime HELP him and the husband is assingned to love his wife ( Ethesian 5 Vs 18-24). Marriage is for ever (Amen!!)
