How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light? The task of Jesus as the servant was to bring back the sinners (those who live in darkness) to the light so that all the world may be saved at the same time restore His glory to greatness "Isiah 49 Vs 5 - 6". He brought light by coming out of Galilee and live in Capernaum. The people were taught about repentance and that the kingdom of God is at hand at the same time teaching them to obey the word of God.

Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation? It was important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation because after fasting for forty days & nights, He was hungry and weak. This was also important so that the believers should learn how to overcome temptation as Jesus overcomed temptation with the word of God, Christians aught to do the same. Temptation is not a sin but it becomes a sin when one gives in . We are learning here that Jesus kept the scriptures ready to overcome temtation same like David who also kept the word of God in his heart so that he should not sin against God " Psalms 119 Vs 11". Let us committe ourselves to God and resit the devil at the same time not giving room to the devil in time of temptations " James 4 Vs 7" Ethesians 4 Vs 27" Amen!
