Why was all of Jerusalem troubled about the birth of Jesus?

All of Jerusalem were troubled about the birth of Jesus for Jesus was to be born the King of the Jews. Herold and his friends were afraid of losing there kingship (leadership)positions thus why Herold was trouble so much. Others were afraid of losing their idol worship. Thanks to our God through the power of the Holy Spirit for directing the wise men to use the other way avoiding the evil plan of Herod.

Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?

This was so to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the Prophet; saying " Behold the virgin shall be with a child who shall bring forth a son ; they shall call him Emmanuel(God with us)". Isiah 9 Vs 6 , the child will be given unto us and the government will be unto His shoulder; and His name shall be called wonderful conswllor, might God,the everlasting father ,the prince of peace. Jesus is God the son who is sinless and was to be born from the virgin who is Holy and blemless in the eyes of the GOD. God knew that through the virgin, people will be able to understand the good news about the kingdom of God. God Bless you all!!!!
