Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"?

According to the Bible (Prophet Isiah), Jesus came on earth as a surfering servant who brought light to the world (Gentiles) " Isiah 49 Vs 6". He is the light of the world. Now, Jesus' followers are called "children of the light because they are the followers of Christ at the same time they stand on behalf of Jesus as ambassadors who have the ministry of reconciliation of the world (darkness) to the light ( Jesus) " 2Chorithians 5 Vs 18-20". All those who have accepted Jesus to enter into thier hearts and take up the cross and follow Jesus are the children of the light because Jesus direct them to the kingdom of God at the same time impower their daily lives "John 1 Vs 12". When you have Jesus and believe in Him alone, you have the vision (destination) to the kingdom of God. The world sees light in you because you are full of compassion, mercy and the favour and the grace of God is upon you!!!!

Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem?

Jesus chose riding on the donkey when He came to Jerusalem in order to show His humility at the same time His kingship over Israel. Jesus was fulfiling what was written in the scripture (Bible) in oder to show the glory of the God. If we humble ourselves as believers, God will uplift us.

Why was Mary`s annointing so meaningful to Jesus?

According to the Bible "Isiah 61", Jesus is the annointed figure who came to preach the good news and bind up the broken hearted and opening of the prison to those who are bound. Anyway, Mary's annointing was so meaningful to Jesus because it was the preparatory action for the burial of Jesus. Mary was evry humble, devosional,loved Jesus , had the Spirit of appreciation and believed wholeheartly the work and the miracles of Jesus. Mary chose to work for God than anything else. She knew that God will provide everything she need as long as she put God first in her life" Mathews 6 Vs 33". Let us continue our love for God.
