Why did Jesus answer their question with a question? Why didn`t he just say that his authority came from God? they where trying to catch JESUS out, even if JESUS told them that they would not have wanted to believe and have called it blasphemy

Jesus taught that both believing and forgiving are key to effective prayer. Why do you think they are important? When we pray we must believe that God is going to answer us. Faith is knowing and believing that God is going to answer you before you have even asked. Forgiveness is important because we want God to forgive our sins so we should therefore be willing to forgive those that sin against us. Forgiving and releasing it to God heals our spirit and cleanses us.
