How did Jesus behave in sharp contrast to how religious leaders acted? Jesus treated the sinners with compassion and love. He wanted them to repent and change their lives and He therefore treated without discrimination or harshness. The religious leaders did not understand this approach. They looked down upon the sinner and did not seek to help them but JESUS IS LOVE and He loved everyone and believed that salvation could come to those who wanted and believed in it.
