3071 entries for this category: Never took the time to really understand the time in which Jesus lived as well as the politics involved. This really puts everything into perspective and helps greatly with understanding parts of the New Testament when reading Gods Word. I have never been one for history, but this is very informative. It also interested me that there are clear similarities between the Roman Empire and the current trends in world politics where syncretism is embraced and there is a massive trend towards unified religion/government. If the world hates those who testify that its works are evil, why didn`t Jesus deemphasize this portion of His message? tHE TIME WAS NOT RIGHT FOR JESUS, HIS TOIME WAS NOT FULFILLED AND THE THE PEOPLE FEAR THE JEWS AND THAT WAS ALSO A PROBLEM BECAUSE SOME SAID JESUS WAS GOOD AND OTHER SAID NO.
