3071 entries for this category: Jesus defines the members of his "spiritual family" as "whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother." If it depended on my ability to do the will of God, then no, it does not include me. I am weak and disobedient.But Jesus offers me unconditional forgiveness if I believe in Him. So thanks to Jesus, it does include me, even while I am disobedient and imperfect. They accused Jesus of "having" the devil. Jesus answered that you can not plunder a strong man's house, unless you first bind the strong man. And then Jesus talks about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. If Satan is the strong man, this can mean that unless Jesus binds Satan first, Jesus can not cast out demons. "How can Satan cast out Satan?" But the opposite can also be true? Before you say something evil against something you know is good, you first have to deliberately bind the knowledge of good inside you. How does Jesus define members of his "spiritual family"? Does this include you?
