What do you think might have led Joseph of Arimathaea to be a disciple of Jesus?

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?

They were too proud to admit they were wrong. They knew they were wrong even before Jesus' Resurrection. They didnt want the people to know they wrong because of their vanity and arrogance and it probably also would have started a riot for killing the very Savior that was prophecied about in the very scripture they would read in the synagogue

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?

Firstly it is evidence to all that Jesus is Divine and truly the Son of God. He defeated death and this gives us hope of not only beating death by being resurrected to heaven along side him at the end of this age but to have everlasting life with our Lord and Savior and our Creator. This should give all Christians of the world great hope and faith! God bless and all glory and honor belongs to you God the Father and the Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
