How can one telll whether at the judgement he/she will be a sheep or a goat?

If you accept Jesus baptism and crucifixion as atonement for your sins, if you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, if you have loved God with all your heart, mind, and soul, if you have loved your neighbour as you love yourself, obey God's commandments, lived according to God's will, confessed your sins and repented, and believe in eternal salvation being saved by God's grace, then according to the Bible, God's truth, then you can know you are sheep

Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town?

Jesus knew and accepted His death. He knew he must do this in order to save mankind. Jesus was put on this earth as the sacfricial lamb. With His baptism, he took away the sins of the world and with His death He paid for the sins of the world.

Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus?

Because she has done a good work for Him. in the pouring of the ointment on His body, she honored Him and prepared Him for burial
