3071 entries for this category: Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable? Hi is the king, their leader. He expects them to obey his commands. He lays the law for people to follow and leads them. Jesus was explaining to people that He and His father expect the people to follow His will and obey His laws. God is constantly calling His people to follow Him and obey His commands especially the children of Israel. When Israel didnt listen then the gospel was turned to the rest of the world, good or bad and whoever prepared to join Christ and His followers would be accepted at the feast but those who want to join but arent prepared to come prepared for it will be turned away from God's kingdom.

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees? THEY TOOK THE PEOPLE ON THE WRONG WAY AWAY FROM THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD AND JESUS. THEY BEND THE LAWS THAT GOD GAVE THEIR FATHERS.
