Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die?

Jesus needed to prepare His disciples for what was going to take place. He needed to comfort them and prepare them for the gruesome and horrible experience He was about to endure and also prepare them for His resurrection. He needed them to have firsthand knowledge so they could strengthen their faith in the face of adversity.

Why did Jesus tell the rich man to sell all his possessions before coming to follow Him?

Possessions are attached to the world. Many who exist today are attached to their worldly possessions. To those who are attached to worldly possessions more so that to Jesus will have a difficult time to live as Christ intends us to live. He say "Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life."

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?

God is the creator of heaven and earth, the King of the Universe. If it be His will then so be it. We are to faith and believe His decision is just becuase He is just and righteous.It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. He can do what He wanst to with what I own. We all belong to God and are His children.
