When answering John`s question about whether He was the Christ, why did Jesus point out the results of his ministry rather than just saying yes or no? John the baptist knew of all the miracles Jesus would perform and lessons he would teach. Jesus knew by telling of his works John would know he was the Christ that had come as foretold in the scriptures. Additionally, the way Jesus spoke wasn't in yes or no, but he responded in a manner where an individual actually learned something either a lesson or learned more about Jesus. In the case of John with this answer, he in fact learned that Jesus is the messiah

When answering John`s question about whether He was the Christ, why did Jesus point out the results of his ministry rather than just saying yes or no? JESUS POINT OUT HIS MINISTRY BECAUSE IF JOHN HEARD IT HE'LL UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S JESUS THAT IS ON EARTH.
