Why did Jesus first forgive the paralytic`s sins, and only later heal him? What lesson was he trying to communicate? In order for us to receive blessings, we must be cleansed of our iniquities. Whether it is spiritual, physical or mental healing, we must first be forgiven our sins and repent. Jesus wanted to demonstrate this principle to the paralytic.
