In what ways does the physical healings performed by Jesus in the path parallel the spiritual healings he performs on people today?

When we are under his wing and we give him all the faith and trust the way a small child trusts his parent, he gives us the peace, wisdom and truth that gives us the chance to live by God's law and his will. Once we have undying faith in God, so his will, obey his law, walk like Christ, learn and live by God's word, and love thy neighbor as Jesus loved us then we will be spirituall healed as quickly as Jesus touching anyone and healing them instantly

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus?

Firstly, the centurion was a Roman soldier of pagan Rome. He displayed to Jesus that even of his stature and positions, he went against all that he knew as a Roman or even what is society would think about him asking Jesus for help, and had faith stronger than that of even the Jews - the very nation of people of Jesus' bloodline. His faith was that of what Jesus would expect and hope anyone's faith to be. It is the kind of faith that the bible says we must have

The fact that the centurion recognizes the authority of Jesus over all (man, animal, spirit and inanimate objects) and that everything WILL respond to His command.
