How do you think Peter felt after his discussion with Jesus?

Fact that he knew what he was doing behind Jesus's back,he was terrified as he was about to be exposed,he was at the point of no turning back, because if he had,he could have made things right

Why do you think Jesus chose to appear to the disciples in this way?

I think Jesus appeared in this manner to 1) see the faith of His disciples (he appeared in a way that they didnt know it was Jesus until after the miracle had been performed); and 2) as a means to protect them for even after Christ died and was resurrected, any of His followers were still persecuted so out of love He appeared in a way that only His disciples would know it was Him.
