I have learnt that Jesus first worked as a carpenter before starting to preach about God. He started this work when he was thirty years of age. He did not travel more than 200 miles from his birthplace in Jerusalem.In Nazareth where he was raised the people did not believe him as they had seen him growing up and how could he suddenly claim to be God and healing people from all kinds of illnesses.

Jesus had 12 disciples who learnt about God and his work and who would later spread in different parts to preach and heal people with the guiding power of the Holy Spirit.

He was killed by the Jewish due to his claiming to be God, and when he died they guarded his grave in case his disciples would come and steal his body. He rose after the third day and this was even more astonishing to his killers as they could see he was really from God.

I am glad that I have Jesus in my life to protect and guide me in my life always. We cannot be grateful enough to him for dying for our sins but what lies in us is to be faithful christians and spread the word of God to other people. We are free that our sins have been forgiven

It is very comforting to me that whenever I encounter difficult situations in my life I know Jesus is there for me and will take care of me. I have allowed him to take control of my life.
