Why do some people hate Jesus?

He was a good teacher always telling people about God in heaven while worship earthly things,they could'nt let go of their lust,they were in bondage.they had to be against Him to satisfy their lust that led them to everlasting fire in hell

What things can we (the branches) do to help us remain in Jesus (the vine).

Live in Gods word, follow His commandments, live as Jesus lived, love one another as He loves the world. Avoid sin, ask forgiveness and repent.

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

This may seem so from the incidents recorded in the Bible. However Jesus was not the only person/prohet killed by the jews. They seem to reject any religious revival. Moreover "...the lamb of God that was slain from the foundation of the world". It had to happen for my salvation and yours too. It is unfiortunate that those through whom it happen have not accepted thier "error" and seek forgiveness and salvation through Jesus.
