Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?

Because he had little time and load of work to do, so he had to scatter the massege all over so as to let all know of God and his purpose on us his children, thus to be served from the evil one and have eternal life, before he was crucified. Amen!!!

What is authority, and how did Jesus demonstrate authority in his teachings and actions?

Authority is the power to act or do something from your superior/lord, and Jesus demonstrated authority from our master, God by cast out evil spirits that has been tormenting that man. It is by the same authority given to us by God the almighty to can command out evil spirits, do miracles, etc with faith and it is done for we are christians, and therefore God's children. Amen!!!

What part of Jesus` "mission statement" (reading from Isaiah) has the most appeal to you?

The fact that the spirit of the Lord is on me because when God' spirit is in me, i am in his presence, therefore blessed and holy and free from all sorts of curse and misfortunes.
